Minoyama Onsen, with a history dating back to 1458, is dotted with many hot springs in different districts.
Among them, the Hayama district, located on high ground away from the city center, offers an excellent location with a panoramic view of the Zao mountain range. Meigetsuso is located in this area and has a vast site of 4,000 tsubo.

The menu features Meigetsuso’s Japanese cuisine, which takes full advantage of the seasonal flavors and aromas of Yamagata’s local mountain and sea produce.
The chef personally purchases fresh seafood from the market that day.
It is served with Tosa soy sauce and Meigetsuso’s special sake.
The steak is A5-rank Yamagata beef, grilled to your liking.
