Located in the Hanamaki Minami hot spring village, deep in the heart of Iwate, the Yamanokami Onsen Yuukaen is a hot spring inn that is popular for its carefully finished miya-daiko architecture and thick, lotion-like water.
It takes about 50 minutes from Hanamaki and Shin-Hanamaki stations by free shuttle bus.
Surrounded by mountains and a river, the Yamanokami Onsen Yuukaen is so quiet that you can hear the sound of the river and birds chirping.
It has a garden that shows the seasonal expressions in harmony with nature in its vast grounds.

Yamanokami Onsen Bessyu Seiryukan is an adult-only inn where elementary school students and younger are not allowed to stay.
The inn consists of five two-story buildings with a total of 20 guest rooms (four rooms in each building).
All of them are Japanese-Western style rooms with a maximum capacity of two people.
The guest rooms on the first floor are a modern expression of the coffered ceilings used for dignified ceilings in Japan.
The 65 square meters of space, including the terrace, is just right for two adults.
In addition, all rooms are equipped with a hot spring bath. The hot spring water is as thick as lotion, and you can luxuriously enjoy it all to yourself.
Surrounded by the scent of hiba (Japanese cypress), you can fully enjoy the hot spring water for beautiful skin.
If you open the window, you can enjoy the bath as if it were half an open-air bath.

Dinner begins with a colorful appetizer, followed by a 10-course kaiseki dinner using a variety of seasonal ingredients, including sashimi and steamed dishes.
The double main course of Iwate black Japanese beef and seasonal fish will fill your stomach to the brim.
