The “Yuusen Shidate” stands along the clear waters of the Toyosawa River.
It is connected to its sister hotel, Hotel Shidaira, by a corridor, but if Hotel Shidaira, which has a heated pool with a water slide and other entertainment facilities, is a “dynamic hotel,” Shidate is a “quiet inn” for adults.
Only people over 12 years old can use the hotel.
All of the 28 rooms are equipped with outdoor hot spring baths, and it is an inn where you can enjoy hot springs and tranquility whenever you want, as long as you want.

The charm of Shidate is that all of the rooms have a view of the mountain stream, and you can enjoy the hot spring while admiring the spectacular view. Shidaira hot spring is 1300 years old. The hot spring has a long history and is said to have been discovered by a group of people led by Tamuramaro Sakagami in the early Heian period (794-1185) at the behest of the Goddess of Mercy. There are two private hot springs, one in the main bath and the other in the open-air bath in the room, so you can enjoy bathing to your heart’s content.
