The Chita Peninsula is curved in an L-shape.
National Route 247, which circles the peninsula, is an excellent driving course with spectacular views.
To reach “Umi no Shougetsu” you must leave the seaside road and go up a small road for a short distance.
The inn is located at an elevation of 70 meters above sea level, on a hill from which you can view the ocean from
inside the inn and from your room.
There are only 10 rooms.
The only other facilities are a hot spring, a rock bathing room, and an esthetic salon.
The sea and the sky, which change their expressions from moment to moment, are all that is needed.

The charm of Umi no Shizutsu is that every room has an open-air bath and a wooden deck to provide a stage for loving
the ocean.
In the rooms, two large daybeds are placed in the living room, and the ocean comes into view even when lying down
and relaxing.
The open-air bath leading to the wooden deck provides an even more wonderful view.
Rooms are located in four separate buildings, “Sora,” “Umi,” “Kaze,” and “Daichi,” and there are two types of rooms:
single-story and maisonette.
Looking at the rooms more closely, there are several points of difference, such as the presence or absence of a
Japanese-style room and the design of the open-air bath, but overall, all the rooms are simple. The interiors are
decorated in shades of brown, creating a chic and mature atmosphere.

Meals are served in the modern “Kaze no Kiki” dining room, where all rooms are private rooms.
Dinner features fresh seafood freshly caught in Ise Bay.
The menu changes monthly with creative kaiseki cuisine that also includes herbs and vegetables grown in the on-site
garden.
